Listening Ear at CCC is having an open afternoon at Hilton Parish Church between 12-2pm on the 22nd of August. This will be a short event to highlight the work of Listening Ear and our partnerships across the Hilton area and the rest of Inverness. The open day will be of benefit to anyone looking to find out about available support through Listening Ear but there will also have a good variety of table exhibitors from Highland Council, NHS, CCC, other churches and community support services. Lunch will be available and the Listening Ear Team and our community partners will be on hand to welcome everyone as they drop in. Further detail here
Inverness Christian Fellowship (ICF) has been in operation within the city of Inverness for 35 years and we are grateful to God who has made the way for us to purchase Trinity Church of Scotland in Huntly Place. We want to recognise God’s goodness as Trinity remains a place of worship in this city. We’d love for you to join us for this service of thanksgiving and rejoice with us, and pray that the building will be a place where Christ’s love is shared and proclaimed to all who enter.
During our Thanksgiving service, Rev David Scott from Inshes East will be sharing from God’s Word, and Chris & Sarah Dowling from King’s Inverness will be leading us in a prayer for our city; for we recognise that we are just one part of the Lord’s body in this city of Inverness, and so would be wonderful for as many as possible from right across the churches to stand together as one.
